There is no doubt that there are currently many Home Inspector service offerings available, no doubt more will follow but it is definate that only a few, those that are the best will be here for the long term. When looking at the cost, don't just look at the bottom line but match this against the services you get. It is our aim to make every penny you spend with us work as hard as possible. We aim to provide you with a service which allows you to more Home Inspections and less administration.
The cost of Home Information Packs will vary from around £650 to £1,000 plus vat and usual legal disbursements and if the HCR (voluntary) is requested then the cost of a full pack is made up of Legal Costs plus the Home Inspector fee; on top of this you pay the Estate Agents commission rate and/or expenses.
Most Agents will have pre-arranged with Solicitors/Conveyancers and Home Inspectors many special deals that effectively mean that you, the seller, pay a special price that will be all inclusive for the Pack and Commission Rates. However, if a Seller wishs to "be completely independent" and needs a separate fee cost for each of the Agent, Solicitor and Home Inspector we can arrange for this provided you provide us with the detail needed to calculate the charge.
